Today is my birthday, and I’ve finally decided to do something I’ve been thinking about for quite some time: start my own blog.
Over the years, I’ve had plenty of experiences, observations, and ideas that I’ve wanted to share. Some came from work, others from everyday life. Most of them never made it beyond conversations or stayed somewhere in the back of my mind.
So, I thought, why not give them a place of their own?
These days, my work focuses on B2B healthcare technology marketing. It’s an interesting space where technology, people, and business decisions come together. Along the way, I’ve seen what works, what doesn’t, and how things that look good on paper don’t always turn out the way we expect.
I’d like to share some of those experiences, findings, and perspectives. Not necessarily to offer advice, but to put my thoughts out there, question certain assumptions, and perhaps exchange ideas with others who see things differently.
But this won’t be just about work.
Outside marketing, I enjoy mountain biking, cycling, technology, and exploring whatever catches my interest. There are plenty of things happening beyond our professional lives that are just as worth writing about.
On a more personal note, I also stutter. Sometimes, expressing what’s on my mind through conversation isn’t as easy as I’d like. Writing gives me another way to organise my thoughts and express myself.
I don’t have a fixed plan for what this blog will become, and I don’t intend to turn it into another task with deadlines and targets.
Some posts might be about marketing. Others might be about something I’ve experienced, something I’ve read, or simply something that made me think.
For now, I just want a space to write, reflect, and share things I’ve been meaning to share.
And what better day to start than my birthday?
